Delivery & Pickup Service

How do I sign up?

Easy. Click here .

Does it cost more to have my orders picked up and delivered?

No. Same price as in our store. There are no delivery fees.

How do I pay for my orders?

We will charge your credit card when your order is delivered. Your card information is held securely by a third party credit card processor using the latest encryption and safeguarding technologies. You can access and/or update your payment information by logging into your online account anytime.

Do I need to be home when my clothes are picked up or delivered?

No – we generally pick up and deliver when our customer is not at home.

Where do I leave my order and where do you deliver my completed order?

Wherever you like. We can pick up from your home or office. You can even select specific locations at your home – e.g. a side door or a garage.

When are the scheduled drop-off and pick-up days for my area?

I am an on-demand customer. How do I request a pickup?

Login to your account here and go to the Pickup screen. You can also email us or give us a call at 612-379-2532.

I want to put my service on hold due to vacation or other reason.

Not a problem. Just login to your account and use the Hold tab to hold your service. You may also email us or give us a call at 612-379-2532.

I would like to use a coupon but I don't have a printer.  What should I do?

Store customers can use their phones to present electronic coupons, but for obvious reasons this doesn't work for delivery customers.  If you cannot print a coupon, simply write the coupon details (including the promotion code) on a piece of paper and include it with your order.

How do I tell Skylark about a special request/issue with my garments?

Skylark has a special form just for this situation. Just fill it out and attach it to the garment needing special attention. If you have general processing requirements you always want us to follow (for example, "fold shirts" or "never crease trousers"), input these into your account or email us .

It's BLIZZARDING! Will my dry cleaning be delivered?

We make every effort to get your clothes to you on your delivery days. However, there are times when it just isn’t safe for our drivers to be out. We generally follow school closures—if school is cancelled in your community, expect your pickup or delivery on your next delivery day. We will send an email to let you know if that happens.

Can I drop off at your store and get delivery?

Yes. If you are a delivery customer and you drop off at our store, we will deliver your order to you unless you tell us otherwise.

Store Service

Do you provide same day RUSH service?

Yes, at no extra charge at our store. Get your order to us by 9 AM on weekdays and ask for same-day rush; we can complete it by 5 PM. No rush service on weekends.

I want to sign up for LOCKER service.

Inquire in person at our store or signup online (include card info for payment) and email us that you would like locker service. Include your personal information with your first order - your order will be returned in the locker with a personal Skylark bag for future orders.

I want to use drive thru service.

No signup necessary - just swing by. Ask for a personalized Skylark bag and put a card on file to speed things up.

General Questions

What is your policy towards damaged items, lost items, and unclaimed merchandise?

At Skylark, we make every effort to ensure our customers are satisfied with our work. When issues do occur, we work closely with the customer to solve the problem. View our terms and conditions.

Do you recycle hangers or poly?

Yes. Because we care deeply about the environment, we ask our customers to return hangers and poly bags for reuse and recycling. Simply put your hangers over the top of your laundry bag and run the drawstring through them. (Don’t place hangers inside the bag with your clothes as this could result in damage to your clothing.) You can put your poly bags inside your laundry bag.

What additional services do you offer?

Are there any items that take longer than the standard turn around time?

Yes, some items do take more time to clean. Leather and fur items are returned in approximately two weeks. Rugs and drapes take two to three weeks. In certain cases, we will hold back items for additional work - generally stain removal or repair.

Do you accept clothing donations for local charities?

Yes. We currently donate gently used clothing to the Goodwill, ARC, and the Salvation Army.

Do you donate to nonprofits or charity organizations?

We are proud of our partnerships with schools and nonprofits in our community. In addition to participating in auctions and raffle events, we offer special rates to qualifying organizations. If you would like us to consider a request for a donation, please contact us or mail a request with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Attn: Manager, Skylark Dry Cleaning, 1530 7th St. West, St. Paul, MN 55102.

What is dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is the process of cleaning clothes with a solvent other than water. In many drycleaning plants, clothes are placed in a large machine resembling a washing machine, soaked in percoethelyne (“PERC”) and detergent, and then heat-dried. PERC is a petroleum-based degreaser. It is often found in superfund sites, is a serious ground, water and air contaminant, is a probable carcinogen, and is associated with kidney and liver damage, birth defects and many other serious health issues. THERE IS NO PERC ANYWHERE ON SKYLARK PREMISES. Never has been, never will be.

We use ONLY environmentally friendly cleaning methods. We value the earth, our employees, our customers and their clothing too much to use anything but Wetcleaning and GreenEarth cleaning to properly and safely clean fabrics (see description of our cleaning methods below).

What is Professional Wetcleaning?

Professional Wetcleaning at Skylark involves cleaning garments in water and biodegradable detergents. Our highly trained staff use our state-of- the-art washing and drying equipment, as well as specialized detergents, to gently clean your clothes with out shrinking or otherwise damaging even the most delicate of fabrics.

What is GreenEarth cleaning?

The GreenEarth process replaces petroleum-based solvents (like PERC) with liquid silicone—a gentle solution made from one of the earth’s safest and most abundant natural resources: sand. In its liquid form, silica (sand) cleans as effectively as traditional dry cleaning and, like Professional Wetcleaning, is much much gentler on your clothing—no shrinkage, or fiber damage, clothes retain their vibrant color and last longer. We like it for its cleaning properties, and also because it contains no hazardous chemicals. So there’s no risk to the air, water, soil, our employees or our customers. Do you charge an environmental fee?

No. Unlike traditional dry cleaners, our process doesn’t involve the disposal of hazardous wastes, so there is no environmental fee for using our service.


FAQ - Skylark Laundry Club and General Wash and Fold

How much laundry can I fit in a bag?

A full Skylark Laundry Club bag can hold, for example:

  • 4 pairs of jeans and khakis
  • 7 t-shirts or polos
  • 7 pairs of socks and underwear
  • A bath towel
  • A full set of queensized bedding

What if my Skylark Laundry Club bag is less than the minimum order size of 16 lbs?

Bags under 16 lbs are subject to a minimum charge of $20, which increases the per pound rate. So please FILL THE BAG UP! Detailed pricing at SkylarkCleaning.com/SkylarkLaundryClub/Terms .

What if my Skylark Laundry Club bag is more than the minimum order size of 16 lbs?

No problem. Pounds over 16 lbs are charged at our standard Laundry Club rates.

Why do you require full bags to get Laundry Club pricing?

Well, we don’t require a full bag. But its in your best interest to fill it up. It’s the classic volume discount concept. Much of our cost is related to processing an order, so bigger orders mean savings, and we are happy to pass those dollars along. We charge the same low Skylark Laundry Club price for amounts over the minimum weight of 16 lbs. For specific information on pricing, and other Laundry Club details, click here .

I lost my Dirty Laundry Bag or my Clean Laundry Tote. What should I do?

No worries! We can replace them for a fee of $5 for a Laundry Bag and $10 for a Laundry Tote. To ensure proper care and quality standards, we will automatically replace a Clean Laundry Tote if needed to return your order.

Is it OK for me to use my own bags for my Laundry Club orders?

No, and here’s why: Skylark provides all Laundry Club customers Dirty Laundry Bags and Clean Laundry Totes when they sign up for service. These bags help to ensure proper care and quality standards when picking up, processing and returning your order. If you lose or damage your bag, or if you forget to include your bags with your order, don’t worry! We will replace them ($5 per Laundry Bag; $10 per Clean Laundry Tote.)

I am a Skylark Laundry Club customer but have other items I'd like you to clean.
